The primary goal of Yoga Hike℠ is to offer an opportunity for participants to enhance their life meaning and purpose while feeling the support that is always available to them from nature. We are not so much interested in the circus-acrobat style of Yoga. Our Yoga is accessible to all levels of experience and ages.
Yoga began as a reaction against the exploitation of nature. Years ago, when humans began moving away from being in harmony with nature, to wanting to control nature, there was a group who questioned this change; questioned whether there was a better way to find happiness and fulfillment. They retreated into the mountains, the forests, and the jungles to see if there was a better way to find happiness, bliss, and who we truly are, at the core of our existence. Yoga helps people to discover their personal destinies and practicing in nature enhances one’s ability to experience the love, support, and guidance that is always available to them…with each breath.
It is our hope that this realization empowers more and more people to discover and choose their personal destiny or purpose. We have seen that as the individual becomes stronger in their sense of well-being and Self, they feel a deeper union with the collective. We believe that this deep sense of connectedness has the ability to transform the way we treat each other and nature on a global scale. And, as a result, we, as a species, will return to making decisions based on our oneness with each other and nature.
