Our Sunset Yoga Hike held at Pedernales Falls State Park this past Friday evening was magical.
The sound of the water rushing around us, as the sun set on the horizon, was intoxicating. After, just a few, deep, full, body-cavity breaths…we practiced surrendering to the flow of nature with Sun-salutations. Final Meditation was fueled by rushing sounds of waterfalls riding on ecstatic breaths. We ended with Savasana under the stars and a night-hike out!
Heres’s what one participant had to say about the experience.
“Mary Ann and I finally both got the chance to see what Yoga Hike is like. On the way out there, we talked about being a chameleon, as in ever and always pushing your boundaries and the types of situations you can handle by actively pursuing new experiences, especially those outside your comfort zone. So we met seven strangers in the wilderness to hike, yoga, and meditate in the dark on a perilous rocky terrain. And it was pure magic!! I won’t over-describe it, you just need to try it. Find Yoga Hike on Facebook or the MINDBODY app. They’re not usually in the dark! Go push on your boundaries.” – Tara, Musician, Yoga Teacher
Thank you everyone. I look forward to more adventures with you,
