Yoga Hike at Twin Falls was my first outing, but it piqued my initial interest because of the additional hiking aspect. I have been wanting to visit many of the beautiful parks and falls in the area, but never got around to it.
What was unique about Yoga Hike was that it gave me a healthy excuse to venture into a new area, practice yoga in nature, and give me a mental reprieve from the hectic, daily hospital life. The breathing exercise before we started was great, the cardio workout from the hike was exciting, the fun facts along the trail were interesting, and the yoga itself was perfectly relaxing.
I’m normally a very energetic, fast-paced person, but I recognize the benefits of slowing down periodically to reflect and “reset” mind, body, and soul. In a nutshell, Yoga Hike was the perfect combination for me because it had both a relaxing component and an adventurous side. Plus, being able to splash around in the falls with friends was definitely an added bonus from the Twin Falls hike! Thanks again for putting the group together and hope things continue to go well!
